An Unforgettable Escape with Heartwarming Service
An exceptional stay with commendable staff like Sam and Olivier, who went above and beyond to accommodate dietary needs. Perfect spot for a morning coffee overlooking the tranquil ocean. Don't miss the fresh gluten-free bread at breakfast! A hire car is essential for exploring the area.

The view from the seaview room was impressive, with an expansive terrace offering a perfect spot for taking in the scenery. The breakfast spread had some decent options, particularly the fresh fruit and pastries, which were enjoyable.
The pool area was surprisingly small and uninviting, contrary to what the photos suggested. There was a persistent smell in the bathroom that was hard to ignore, alongside significant noise disturbances from ongoing works in the corridors and the main bar area. The internet connection was unreliable, forcing guests to venture to the bar for access. Rooms could use a better cleaning, as evidenced by dirty curtains and a lack of basic amenities like towel holders. the dining experience fell flat, with a disorganized buffet and underwhelming food quality for dinners that didn't align with expectations.

I had a wonderful time soaking up the sun on the beach, and the private area made it feel exclusive. One morning, I enjoyed breakfast on the sand with waves in the background. The staff were attentive and helpful, organizing a driver for touring the area, which was convenient. It felt relaxing to be away from the bustle of daily life and enjoy nature's beauty, reminiscent of my days as a corporate consultant.
The restaurant for lunch and dinner had average meals, and the air conditioning in the room could be improved.

The Mariposa is beautifully located by the beach, offering stunning views of La Morne. The rooms fulfill their purpose well, featuring basic amenities and some with kitchenettes. The main receptionist is particularly friendly and helpful, ensuring a warm welcome and smooth organization during the stay. the restaurant provided a varied menu during the evening that was appreciated, and breakfast options were satisfactory. The beach area offered ample opportunity for relaxation with easy access to loungers.
Service from the staff could improve as it often required multiple requests for assistance.
